Job Summary | The Operations Coordinator manages space and equipment scheduling to effectively allocate available resources in the Rensselaer Union, Playhouse, and related Union facilities. Utilizing the Event Management Software (EMS), the coordinator will prioritize the needs of groups competing for space and equipment and help to resolve conflicting scheduling needs within established guidelines. They will also manage building, key and equipment inventory including motor vehicles. Additionally, the coordinator will provide club, building operations, and project reporting. |

Job Summary | The Assistant Director (AD) of Student Activities is responsible for planning, facilitating and assisting in the coordination of student club programs on campus. The incumbent will develop programs working with clubs and other campus departments focusing on diversity and inclusion, community involvement/engagement, student leadership and operations as an advocate for student clubs. The AD will work with the staff to develop opportunities for servant leadership growth and development. The AD will work in collaboration with Union/Mueller Center staff, campus colleagues, and student clubs to oversee the operation of the Clubhouse Pub under the guidance of the Director and Associate Director of Student Activities. The AD manages fiscal planning and reconciliation of student activities fees associated with club events and other programs and will assist with club operations and other services required to facilitate a student activities program. |

Job Summary | The Program Administrator, Sr manages activities of the Center of Excellence in Digital Game Development at RPI, also known as the Digital Gaming Hub, administered through the Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. The Program Administrator, Sr is responsible for supervision and management of tasks related to the Hub’s mission, including community management, outreach, events planning and execution, assessment and reporting, and program development. The Administrator supports, initiates, and manages interactions and relations with internal and external partners, including industry partners, community organizations, economic development agencies, funding source, and not-for-profit agencies, research labs, and other stakeholders in the games and digital media ecosystem. This is a grant funded position. |

Job Summary | The HVAC/r & Building Maintenance Technician will perform diversified duties for general building maintenance including carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and painting. Job Summary | The Assistant Coach for Women's Ice Hockey assists the Head Coach in the management and administration of a Division I Hockey program. Job Summary | The Research Accountant will provide post-award financial analysis and support for research grants / contracts received by Rensselaer. Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent and three to five years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic setting, or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and work experience.

Compensation
The rate for this position is $17.50 - $18.50 per hour. Associate Director for Greek Leadership

Position Purpose: Oversees and directs the operations, vision, and programs for Greek life at Union College by facilitating an environment where members of the Greek community can be challenged and supported in their personal growth, efforts, and experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to students. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greek Community Development & Engagement: Creates a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive environment for Greek organizations. Manages and supervises the activities of and provides guidance to various National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities, North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) fraternities, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) organizations as well as local/unaffiliated organizations. Coordinates recruitment/intake and the annual review processes for all student Greek letter organizations. Designs and implements leadership development programs for the Greek community, including programming in the areas of risk management, membership recruitment/intake and education; problem resolution, and community planning.
- Supervision: Supervises the Community Director for Greek Houses. Indirectly supervises Greek house managers and part-time party monitors. Guides and supports the community director and student staff community development efforts, including the implementation of curricular engagement guides and corresponding assessments.
- Student Health and Safety: Monitors and intervenes with students who may be struggling academically and/or with other behavioral and developmental issues. Refers accordingly to services as needed. Participates in regular professional staff on-call rotation, providing crisis intervention and serving as a resource or referral agent. Understands and enforces Code of Student Conduct and other policies regarding behavior, safety, security, health, and other matters in cooperation with the appropriate offices. Serves as a campus judicial hearing officer. Participates in CARE team meetings and provides culturally responsive support to students.
- Collaboration: Builds relationships with alumni, donors, and other stakeholders to advance the Greek Life program and support its mission. Works in collaboration with designated staff in College Relations to interface with fraternity and sorority alumni. Serves as the liaison to national organizations, chapter advisors, and other College departments.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration or related field and 3-5 years of student affairs experience or equivalent, and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. Knowledge of residential liberal arts college administration is desirable Knowledge of residential liberal arts college administration is desirable.
- Knowledge of National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities, North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) fraternities, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) organizations. Compensation
The annual salary range this position is $60,000.00 - $62,000.00. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Job Summary | The Department of Science & Technology Studies (STS) in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks a tenure track/tenured Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor specializing in Community Engagement and Community-Based Research and whose research and teaching is grounded in Science and Technology Studies (STS). The successful candidate will extend the STS research portfolio in the areas of public understanding of science, citizen science, community-based participatory research, participatory action research, participatory design, and/or public engagement in science and technology policymaking. They will teach required courses for the majors in Science, Technology, and Society; Design, Innovation and Society; and Sustainability Studies, as well as the PhD program in Science and Technology Studies. The position is 40% teaching, 40% research, 20% service. |
Minimum Qualifications | Applicants must have a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Science and Technology Studies or a related field, such as Sociology, Anthropology, Design Studies, Geography, or Media Studies. Applicants must have knowledge of, commitment to, and expertise in community engagement and community-based research. Candidates must also be able to present evidence of effective teaching, and have the ability to demonstrate, through accomplishment, promise of academic, scholarly and/or research achievement. We seek a scholar who will contribute to the STS Department’s broader commitments to socially engaged STS and design of alternative futures. Job Summary | The Department of Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering (ECSE) at RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE in Troy, NY invites applications for multiple tenured/tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels. The ECSE department is in a period of multi-year growth. We seek individuals with demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching, combining innovative methods and compelling applications. We welcome candidates with research interests in semiconductor technology, next-generation computing including quantum computing, networking and security, energy and power systems, and robotics and artificial intelligence. Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop and maintain a robust and externally sponsored research program, and participate in activities that strengthen the department, the School, Rensselaer, and the broader professional community. New faculty will complement and augment ECSE strengths in AI/ML, microelectronics, computer system design, control, robotics, communication, networking, and power systems. New faculty can also participate in Institute-wide research initiatives, including in Chips (chips.rpi.edu), Data, the Future of Computing Institute, the Institute for Energy, the Built Environment, and Smart Systems, Center for Engineering and Precision Medicine, and centers including Center for Materials, Devices, and Integrated Systems, Center for Future Energy Systems, and Center for Mobility and Vertical Lift. |

Job Summary | The leader of the Marketing Communications function will provide day-to-day oversite of OCEC web, brand and editorial teams. The incumbent will partner with institute leaders on their annual marketing and communications plans, and communications roadmaps. The incumbent will be accountable for the execution of university storytelling campaigns and initiatives. |
Requirements | To be considered, candidates will have a bachelor's degree in marketing, integrated marketing communications, or a related field; along with five (5) years of professional and progressively responsible experience in a marketing communications setting. Candidates must have creative sensibilities and the ability to navigate and build relationships with leaders in a scholarly environment. Importantly, candidates must have an understanding of brand: how to grow and nurture one; as well as branding: how to manifest it in the market to increase engagement. The successful candidate will have the proven ability to lead and engender cooperation from others in a matrixed environment and drive teams to deliver results. To be considered at the Director level, the candidate's experience must also include the planning and management of marketing projects, and candidates must be experienced supervisors. Candidates at the Assistant Vice President level must also have demonstrated experience as a seasoned storyteller and be a well-rounded marketing communications professional with proven ability to develop and experience managing a high-energy, highly productive, accountable team of creative professionals in a matrixed environment. Candidates for the AVP level will have had successful experience in a similar capacity at a top tier agency or a matrixed environment. Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered. |
